About me

My name is Andrew Pearson, husband to Melanie, dad to Sadie and Charlie. I am also in charge of looking after the family pets, Arlo the Labradoodle and Misty & Flopsy the mini lop rabbits. Cumbrian born and bred, I live in Carlisle and have done for the last 23 years. I also have connections and history throughout the county. My mum and dad, Pat and Mike, are both from Penrith and I have family there too. Both my grandfathers were very well known in the Penrith area, Arthur owned and ran a well-known shoe shop and Geoff was an excellent Cumberland & Westmorland wrestler as well as an accomplished farmer. I was born in Kendal and have lived in Penrith and Brampton as well as in Broughton-in-Furness. I went to secondary school in Coniston and I know many of the nooks and crannies of The Lake District National Park. When it comes to local market knowledge and someone who has a real understanding of the Cumbrian market, you’re in safe hands.

I have been an Estate Agent for 15 years and have valued and sold hundreds of homes and covered everything from Auction Houses to 4 million pound estates. I have worked for excellent independent agents, in Carlisle, West Cumbria and Windermere and also for the largest estate agent name in the UK – Purplebricks – where I established the brand in the County back in 2016 from a flat start. I was a very successful territory owner for Purplebricks and in February was awarded a large geographical area to help, inspire and motivate a team of self-employed agents across Cumbria, Lancaster, Preston, Blackpool, Bradford & Halifax. Whilst working at Purplebricks I amassed nearly 200 personal 5-star reviews on Trustpilot and Feefo. I have worked extensively in Carlisle, Penrith & The Eden Valley, West Cumbria and the Lake District.

I aim to offer something very different for Estate Agency in the area, hence my tag line – Estate Agency Done Differently. I appreciate I may not be re-inventing the wheel but my aim is to offer a truly bespoke service from the initial valuation until key handover where I offer an exceptional service combined with modern technology, professional photography and virtual viewings. Each house will be launched, not just listed, with social media videos to create a real buzz which will help drive demand.

It might sound strange, but my aim is not to become the largest estate agent in the area, it is to provide something different, something bespoke to the customer, something sustainable and a relationship that will last a lifetime. You will not just be another instruction or listing. I will provide you with a real alternative, one that’s bold and modern but with old fashioned core values.
